Decided to try this place over the weekend and I would say overall it is fine. I think I would give it an additional star if it wasn’t so pricey.... there are several Cajun style restaurants around the city now, and for the price this place should be a lot better. I got the grits, 6 “jumbo” fried shrimp, and a drink ( about $14.50). The grits were definitely the best part of the meal, rich with a broth flavor, hints of lemon, and cheese. The fried shrimp were lightly breaded, which was good, but I’d hardly call them “jumbo”. The shrimp flavor was fine, but nothing unique or outstanding about it. The accompanying hush puppies were fine, but nothing particularly stood out about them. So, about the price. I’d expect to pay that if I’m at a sit down restaurant perhaps, but at a place where you order from the counter? Seems too high. If I want to spend that kind of money on seafood I’ll go to Off the Hook or Cajun Corner instead. At the end of the day, I’ll come here again if I’m invited or something, but it’s not necessarily a place I will seek out. Oh, and they have $1 beer and $1 bota box wine, so if you’re looking for a few cheap drinks this might be a good stop! That’s probably the best feature of this place.

This is a very good place to go for seafood, it isn't too pricey and you get a good amount of food for what you pay. The catfish is extremely good and from what I've heard is their signature offering. The shrimp and crab have also been excellent the last couple times I've been. Overall I'd say it is a great place to go if you're looking for seafood and don't have enough time to go to a restaurant.

Since this location has opened up its been my go to lunch spot for when I’m at work or my fiancé and I after movie spot. The food is always fresh and I’m not exaggerating it’s literally ALWAYS hot and fresh. Being from Louisiana it’s usually hard to find places that have the red bean rice, Cajun seafood, and down south gumbo. It’s like a taste of home for me.

Went for Taco Tuesday and got $2 off my tacos. Had the whitefish tacos. They were really good. I will for sure come back and get these again.

This is Mc Donald's style fish restaurant. Plastic forks, etc, and when you use the credit card machine, you are FORCED to leave a tip even though there is not a waiter service provided. Bus boys come to drop off your food in a plastic basket and you never see them again. It is self served for the most part. Food isn't bad. It is fast food fish.
